The MAD6 DH is the new gravity focused sixth generation of the CarbonXS series. The bike was designed to give kids the best performing ride possible with more of a focus on going down hill on rougher terrain. Weight is still key to this bike’s set up but it has a chunkier higher travel and grip specification. Another defining design choice is the new Minion DHF tyre on the front and a Maxx Daddy tyre on the rear with stiffened up longer travel suspension.
The MAD6 DH is the lightest most advanced gravity focused dual suspension kids bike in the world that makes no compromises.
The MAD6 DH incorporates a dynamic frame adjustment system, allowing seamless adaptation as the rider grows.
The smallest setting makes the bike more stable for younger rider’s by lowering the standover height and adjusting the headset angle. This can be combined with a new 50mm dropper seat post. As the rider gets taller, the frame geometry elongates and the headset angle reduces, creating a bike that's more responsive and agile.
This bike can suit a rider from under five through to about nine years old.

Deatailed Breakdown:
Crank-set
The custom made crank-set was designed to decrease the pedal centre (pedal to pedal width of the bike) instead of cutting down or shortening an adult set. Reducing centres gives the kids more power and comfort.
Brakes
Shimano XT savagely good in performance and the most reliable brakes for years of performance.
Group-set
9 speed Microshift Advent short cage – the newest rugged short cage groupset designed specially for the 20” rear wheel size. This is matched with a front carbon chain ring and carbon bash guards. A super light weight configuration with low shift forces in the rapid fire changer. Options for SAINT or SRAM GX short cages available
Wheels
We have custom lightweight carbon rims made and lace the wheels up ourselves with race hubs. The rims are custom drilled for a 16 spoke set-up. These are matched with Minion(2.4) / Maxx Daddy tires and setup for tubeless if required. Light, stiff and bomb proof.
Forks
Like the crank-set, nothing in the world exists that suits kids lighter weights. So we deigned and built our own. Bottom line is that air sprung forks do not work for a kids weight. The idea of dropping pressure in a shortened adult fork is not the correct approach – we know as we have tested almost every fork out there.
Key to performance is striction ( friction in the movement ) and breakaway points ( the force required to start the fork moving ). These are better summarized by, plush and buttery ! Even the highest quality air sprung forks have breakaway forces too high for kids weight especially after 6 months of use. Knowing if you want an adult plush full sized fork then go the coil option – supple and smooth for years ! Based on this we designed our own full coil fork with lockout. Tuned of performance and with a rider weight under 75lbs ( 35kg ).
