MAD6 GB

The MAD6 GB is the sixth generation of the CarbonXS series and our lightest bike ever produced. The bicycle was designed to give kids the best performing ride in the newer discipline area of gravel riding.  It is also perfectly suited as a street or road bike. Every component has been chosen to minimize weight and increase performance. Weight is the key to a kids riding happiness. The rear of the bike is set up with a “flex-link” giving about an inch of vibration absorbing travel in the rear of the bike. The setup is matched with 451 skinny aero rims and narrow high pressure tyres.  Whether it is a day on the bike paths or a mini triathlon, The MAD6 GB is the lightest most advanced speed focused kids bike.

The MAD6 GB incorporates a dynamic frame adjustment system, allowing seamless adaptation as the rider grows.
The smallest setting makes the bike more stable for younger riders by lowering the standover height and adjusting the headset angle. This can be combined with a new 50mm dropper seat post. As the rider gets taller, the frame geometry elongates and the headset angle reduces, creating a bike that's more responsive and agile.


This bike can suit a rider from under five-years-old through to eight or nine.

Detailed Breakdown:

Crank-set

The custom made crank-set was designed to decrease the pedal centre (pedal to pedal width of the bike) instead of cutting down or shortening an adult set. Reducing centres gives the kids more power and comfort.

Brakes

Magura MT5 great in performance  in wet and dry, an extremely light weight package.

Forks

The forks on the MAD6 GB are custom, single piece carbon that are light and provide stability at speed.

Group set

10 speed SRAM GX short cage as standard matched with a front carbon chain ring and carbon bash guards. A super light weight configuration with low  shift forces in the rapid fire changer. Options for SAINT or Micro shift Advent short cages available
